Foreign Language Proficiency Tests

The Language Academic Support Unit at the University of Mataram organizes foreign language proficiency tests, particularly in English, with various formats including the TOEFL Prediction, TOEFL ITP, and IELTS.

About the Proficiency Tests

The foreign language services at the Language Academic Support Unit of the University of Mataram conduct the TOEFL Prediction Test and the Standard TOEFL Test to assess the English language proficiency of students and the general public. The TOEFL Prediction Test is offered in two formats: a computer-based test and a paper-based answer sheet test. In addition to preparing participants for the official TOEFL exam, this test aims to enhance overall English language skills. The tests are administered according to a predetermined schedule and typically require a registration fee. The results of these tests can also be used to evaluate students’ English proficiency throughout their studies at the University of Mataram. Participants who take this test benefit from understanding their readiness for the official TOEFL exam and improving their English language skills. Instructions and preparations for the test can be obtained through recommendations on useful study materials and effective strategies for approaching the test.
