Mataram, December 13, 2024 – The staff of the Academic Implementation Unit (UPA) Bahasa at Universitas Mataram regularly participate in Physical Fitness Exercises (SKJ) held every Friday at the Universitas Mataram Rectorate Field. This activity has become an essential part of promoting a healthy lifestyle and strengthening camaraderie among UPA Bahasa staff. With high enthusiasm, the exercise sessions are conducted with great energy and togetherness.
The exercise begins at 7:30 AM local time, with UPA Bahasa staff gathering at the field. The atmosphere is enlivened by opening music that boosts participants’ spirits. They start with stretching and warming up before moving on to the core exercise led by professional instructors.

The first session involves dynamic movements set to fast-paced music, which the UPA Bahasa staff follow with great enthusiasm. In the final session, the music tempo slows down, and the movements become more relaxed, creating a calming and enjoyable conclusion to the exercise.
According to Ahmad, S.Pd, S.Sos., Head of the Administrative Working Team, the activity aims to improve physical health and maintain harmonious relationships among staff, especially within UPA Bahasa. “Through this exercise, we can maintain our health and strengthen the bonds among UPA Bahasa staff,” he explained.
The enthusiasm of the participants is evident in every session. One of the UPA Bahasa staff, Lalu Galih Indragosal, S.Adm., shared, “Besides keeping our bodies healthy, this activity provides an opportunity to meet and socialize with colleagues from other units. This is very beneficial for our camaraderie.”

The Friday Exercise, which has been conducted since 2017, has shown significant positive impacts. It not only helps improve physical health but also fosters a more harmonious work environment through closer relationships among UPA Bahasa staff. With this regular exercise routine, it is hoped that a healthy lifestyle will continue to be practiced and become a positive culture within UPA Bahasa.
